Pick the colour of your day, write one line, keep it. Every Sunday your iPhone writes you a quiet letter about your week — and none of it ever leaves your phone.
Free to start · No account · No ads

No prompts to answer, no blank page to fill. Six soft colours cover how a day can feel. Add one line — typed, or spoken — and keep the day.

Days become auras, weeks become ribbons, and each month turns into a poster you can keep. Patterns show up on their own — without charts or scores.

On Sunday evening your iPhone reads the week back to you — what kept coming up, which days felt lighter, one small thing to try. Written by Apple's on-device model, from your own words.

“When did I feel lightest this month?” Quiet Journal answers from your own entries, with the days to prove it. On a walk home? Say your line out loud — it's transcribed on your iPhone.

Quiet Journal has no servers of its own. We never see, store or share what you write.
Entries, letters and answers are made and kept on the device.
No sign-up, no email, nothing to log into. Just open and write.
No ads, no analytics SDKs, no third-party AI. Ever.
Free for everyone — privacy is never behind a paywall.
When a week runs heavy, the letter slows down and stays kind. If something you write sounds like you might be at risk, the app quietly shows where to find a person to talk to. That check happens only on your iPhone.
Quiet Journal is a journal, not a medical or crisis service.

Your week on the Home Screen, today's colour on the Lock Screen, and a single reminder at the time you choose.

Colours, lines and the current month are free for everyone. Pro adds letters, your full history and the rest.
Prices in US dollars; local prices are shown in the App Store. Your entries are never deleted if Pro ends.
Quiet Journal needs iOS 26. Sunday letters and Ask use Apple Intelligence, so they need an iPhone that supports it with Apple Intelligence turned on. On other iPhones you get a simple summary of your week instead.
No. Everything stays on your iPhone, or in your own private iCloud if you turn on sync. We have no servers and no access.
Nothing happens. There are no streaks. Open Weeks, tap the empty day and fill it in whenever you like.
Nothing is deleted. Older history is simply locked until you come back, and you can export your entries at any time.
No. It's a journal. If you're struggling, please talk to someone you trust or a professional. See Support for helplines.
Quiet Journal is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone.
